Thank you for choosing Xelrora Tech. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle your data when you use the FitArtisan Android application (the “App”). Our goal is to be transparent, concise, and compliant with global privacy regulations.

Data Collection & Processing

The App is designed to work offline first with minimal data collection. Here's a detailed breakdown of the data we collect and process:

Personal Information

  • Year of birth (used for age-based recommendations)
  • Height & weight (used for workout calculations)
  • Fitness level (used for personalized workout plans)

Location Data

We do not collect or process any location data. All workout-related calculations are based on user-entered data and do not require or use location services.

Device Information

The App collects minimal device information for technical purposes:

• Device model and OS version (for crash reporting)
• Screen size (for UI optimization)

Data Storage & Retention

All personal and health data is stored locally on your device:

• Profile data is stored in Android's internal storage
• Workout history is kept locally unless you choose to export it
• Data is retained until you uninstall the App or clear data from settings

Data Sharing & Third-Party Access

We do not share your personal or health data with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Crash reports and analytics data (anonymized) are sent to Firebase for bug fixing and app improvement
• Ad networks (Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network) may use device identifiers for ad personalization

How We Use Your Information

• Personalization: Calculating burned calories and tailoring workout plans to your metrics.
• Local Analytics: Displaying charts of your progress inside the App. No analytics data is sent to external servers.

Advertising Services

• Google AdMob:
  • Collects device information (Advertising ID) for ad personalization
  • Processes coarse location data for relevant ad targeting
  • Does not receive personal or health data from our App

  • Processes Facebook SDK data for ad measurement
  • Does not receive personal or health data from our App

Analytics & Crash Reporting

• Firebase Analytics:
  • Collects aggregated, anonymized event statistics
  • Processes screen views and user interactions
  • Does not include personal or health metrics
• Firebase Crashlytics:
  • Collects crash logs and stack traces
  • Processes device model and OS version
  • Does not include personal user data

Disclosure

We never sell or rent your personal information. Data may be disclosed only if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Security

Your profile data is stored securely in Android’s internal storage, sandboxed to the App. We recommend setting up a screen lock on your device to prevent unauthorized access.

Permissions We Request

The App requests the following Android permissions solely for the purposes described below:

• INTERNET – Required to load ads (AdMob / Facebook) and fetch remote update information.
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE & WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE – Allow you to export or import workout data and images you select. (Android 13+: scoped access only.)
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – Enables optional workout reminders and motivational notifications.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM – Required for precise workout reminder alarms. This permission is used to ensure that workout reminders are delivered at the exact scheduled time, which is crucial for maintaining your workout routine. The App uses this permission as part of its calendar functionality for workout scheduling.

Calendar Integration

The App uses calendar functionality to manage and schedule workout reminders. This feature allows you to:

• Schedule regular workout sessions at specific times
• Receive precise reminders for your scheduled workouts
• Track your workout routine as part of your daily schedule

These reminders are essential for helping you maintain a consistent workout routine and achieve your fitness goals.

Third-Party SDKs Used

To deliver a full experience we integrate a limited set of trusted SDKs:

• Google AdMob – Shows banner/interstitial ads. Collects Advertising ID for ad personalisation (you can opt out).
• Facebook Audience Network – May display fallback ads in some regions. Uses Facebook SDK to deliver & measure ads.
• Firebase Analytics – Aggregated, anonymised event statistics (e.g., screen views, button taps) to improve usability. No personal workout metrics are included.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging – Sends push notifications such as workout streak reminders or important updates.
• Firebase Crashlytics – Collects crash logs (stack traces, device model, OS version) to help us fix bugs. Does not include your profile data.

Advertising

Ads keep the App free. Google AdMob and Facebook Audience Network may use mobile identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID) and coarse location to serve and measure ads. No health metrics or profile data are shared with ad networks.

You can opt-out of personalised advertising at any time:

• On your Android device open Settings > Google > Ads and choose “Delete advertising ID” or “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.
• Revoke the POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission (Android 13+) to stop receiving promotional push notifications.

Cookies & Web Analytics

Our public website (https://xelrora.tech) uses essential cookies only for security (Cloudflare) and anonymous visit statistics (Privacy-Friendly Plausible Analytics). These cookies do not track you across sites and contain no personally identifiable information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work.

Push Notifications

We send optional motivational messages and schedule reminders through Firebase Cloud Messaging. You can turn notifications off in the App settings or system notification preferences.

Data Retention & Deletion

Profile data remains on your device until you uninstall the App or clear data from settings. Crash/analytics logs are retained by Google/Firebase for up to 14 months, after which they are automatically deleted.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us so we can delete it.

Your Choices & Rights

• Delete Data: You can clear your profile data anytime from the App settings.
• Advertising Choices: You can opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings (“Ads” > “Delete advertising ID”).

GDPR (EU/UK) Rights

If you are located in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have the right to access, correct, download, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights please email support@xeloratech.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.

CCPA (California) Rights

If you are a California resident you have the right to know what information we collect, request deletion of your data, and opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell data). To submit a request, contact us at support@xeloratech.com.
